I have a whirlpool washer direct drive 2 speed that just don't spin fast enough on high wash cycle, I have tried all the answers in the forum so far which include checking between the tubs for clothing, checking the pump for quality of water being spun out, checking all hoses for kinks and for blockagei have even went so far as checking the house plumbing for blockage, the washer just don't spin fast enough to make the water ring out of the clothes, it don't matter which cycle I put it on either it is always the same speed full or empty. Any ideas, Thanks Wes

I had the same problem (I think) with three brand new Kenmore washers (manufactured by Whirlpool). Is your machine located in the basement? If so, there has been a lot of problems with Kenmore/Whirlpool pumps, they can't pump all the water out if pumping up more than a couple of feet, specially on the slower cycles such as permanent press (although the manuals state that they can). After the third model that didn't work, we swore off them and got a Frigidaire.
