I have an older Casablanca ceiling fan. I can't find a model number on it. I am trying to replace the fan switch and didn't note the wiring order when I took the broken switch out. I've searched the internet for an inordinately long amount of time and can not find info based on the wires I have in this fan. I have two black wires, one red and one blue. One black wire and the blue one come out of the capacitor, the red wire comes out from the reverse switch and the remaining black wire comes out from the plastic bit that you plug into the wires that come out of the motor. My switch is L 1 2 3. I've tried several combinations to no avail and am frustrated beyond reason. Is there anyone that can advise me. I like the fan and am trying like crazy to not have to replace the entire thing just for one switch.
