Visibly I can see the difference, the rain clouds seem darker but anyway,.
What makes them different? Why some give water and some don't?

The height of the cloud and the energy behind it. Is it just a puffy cloud from evaporation into condensation.. Cumulus. Thunderstorm clouds, Cumulonimbus.
