Hello,

My daughter has two jobs and one is considered part time. She has been having problems with the manager at the first job. (The full time job). She said the manager wanted to fire her for insubordination , not verbally saying good morning. "She smile when she was approached." But didn't verbally responded. She feels the manager goes out of her way to be vindictive, and want to quit. She wanted to know if she quits or is fired could she still apply for unemployment even though she still works at the part time job.

Thanks for all your help.

Also we are New York. I don't know how unemployment laws vary state to state.

Again thanks.

To received unemployment she has to certify that she is ready and able to work each day and that she hasn't earned more that the weekly allotment.
