I was fired from my job on my third night working due to false accusations. I went into work for my regular shift on my third night. Before I could even clock in, my manage ask me to step into the office to talk to me. I get in there and he starts by asking if I knew about the ten day probation there is when someone is first hired. Well I did; it this ten day grace period to see if you are fit for the job and of course they are able to fire you if you are not. Well anyway, he continues on saying they have to let me ago because some reliable sources said I was giving out body shots(My job was waitressing at a bar)on my second night working. Well I start denying it saying that it wasn't true and asking how my say so had no meaning to the situation. He wasn't trying to talk about it much while trying to open the office door hurrying me. I am pretty ill about the situation. I need my voice to be heard and considered. I hate to lie and one who lies too. How should I go about this?

What do you mean 'giving out body shots'?

Were you failing to get paid and turn in the money? Otherwise, how can someone say you were giving out shots for free? You didn't have access to the booze unless the bartender gave it to you, right?

In general it isn't worth fighting a firing after 3 days. The long standing employee is given more credence than the new one, even if they are lying and just don't want you working there for any reason at all.

Body shots as in letting people take shots off my body. Money was not the problem.

So you were accused of letting patrons do body shots off your body using shots they bought?

I don't get it either. Anyway, you were fired during a probation period, that is a stipulation. Whoever, whatever said what is not the point really. It could have been any reason picked out of a hat. For whatever reason you were fired, move on, forget about it.

I am still curious about 'body shots', so is joy. I don't think it has anything to do with liquor.
