Hello,
I have a GE PSH25PSSA SV refrigerator and it is not holding temperature. The freezer bounces from 0 deg to 12 deg, and the fresh food section varies from 37 to 42 deg. I replaced the evaporator thermister and the defrost thermostat... no good. Is there a diagnostic mode for this fridge? If so, how do I enter it and what are the codes?

Thanks for your time,

Doug G

Check under the unit for dirty condenser coils. That's what seems to be the problem. You have to clean them every six months. This is best done by washing them off with a spray of water and spray cleaner, and clean the fan as well. You will have to unplug it and vacuum it out then wash off the coils keeping water out of the motor. The fan blade comes off easily for cleaning. The coils must stay very clean all the time. DrTom4444
