I am giving my two weeks notice at McDonalds and was wondering what to put in it... Do I just say I am moving on or do I put the actual reasons in. I am wanting to do this as mindfully and non judgmental as possible.
I went back to nights after talking to the restaurant manager and my therapist. My therapist used one of my skills from DBT (DEAR MAN) to help me be mindful and ask for what I needed and wanted. My boss agreed that I would be in the kitchen until after 3am as the drunk rude customers cause me high anxiety and contribute to my depression. I explained over and over I was not to work drive through or out front until after that time and she agreed. Last night I was put in drive through and I did explain to the manager on duty about the deal we had made. It was ignored.
I am realizing that this work place is no longer for me and I need to follow through on my consequences. If I let this pass I can see them putting me out front all the time.
What do I explain in my letter or do I just write a short and sweet this is my two weeks notice my last day will be... thank you and sign it?
