What I would like to do is convert my furnace fan to be able to run at a slow speed all the time to continually move the air through out the house janitrol furnace:confused:

The lowest blower speed possible will be achieved by using the red wire from the blower motor to the fan control. What wires are hooked up now? Low speed would not be recommeded for A/C usage, as it requires more airflow over the cooling coil to get the proper pressure/temp relationship... Most fairly modern furnaces automatically switch to low(Or medium) for heat and high speed for A/C operation...

I wouldn't suggest using low speed for heat either. Changing blower speed won't accomplish much for a split phase motor except reducing noise from air turbulance. Operating cost will still be very much the same.
