For the last several years my ceiling fan remotes has been working fine. Lately two ceiling fan remotes started given me trouble. At the same time, remote 1 stop working and remote 2 worked but the light stays on. In addition, it appears that I am having some interference from a neighbor's remote setting. Because remote 2 fan and light turns on/off without any help from me. I have tried resetting the remote control dip switch on remote 2 and on the fan. In the beginning, this appeared to have worked. Remote 1 started to work again even though remote 2 light stayed on. After about three or four days the same things happen all over again, right down to the fan/light being controlled by someone else. I think this is why the light on remote 2 did not go off when not being used because it is still receiving interference from somewhere in the neighborhood. I have been through all 16-dip setting and the light on remote 2 continues to stay on. I have a 10 foot vaulted ceiling; I do not want to keep going through this. I do not think that a new remote will correct this problem if it is being caused by an outside source. Please advice
