I am wiring a 3 prong dryer plug. My wire coming in has a white, black, red and a bare copper ground wire. Where does the bare wire go if anywhere? Thanks!

If this is Number 10 and on a 30 Amp breaker, it could be OK.
Check inside the panel and see where the wires are connected, particularly the white(Neutral) wuld need to be Identified at both ends with black tape, identifing as Hot and on the 30 Amp Breaker.
