My lower right back hurts and on the side also. It is relievied with an ice pack - what could this be?

If it was your appendix, it wouldn't be relieved with an ice pack, let me put it that way.

Well... thanks, I didn't think that if it was appendix, that an ice pack would relieve it either. I just need to learn to take it easy, when the pain is relieved, and let it heal! Thank You - if the pain continues - I will get it checked out.
