I am in need of a deck belt routing diagram for a john deere STX30 riding mower. I know this is a tricky one and I can't seem to figure out how it came off when it broke

I've got the belt on like the diagram as near as I can tell and the blade is turning backwards [email protected] or [email protected]

Reply to jim, I had the same trouble. The diagram does not show the twist or figure 8 patern you need to put in the belt where the belt goes over the engine pully.

I have also done the same on this diagram exact mowing deck off john deere stx30 and my blade goes backwards what is the problem now please help my yard is getting out of control too much to mow with just a push mower my email is [email protected] and the other email is [email protected]

Try looping the belt into a figure 8 such that the two sides do not touch.
