I want to lose weight, not a lot just about 10lbs or so. I'm 20 years old, 5'5 and I weight somewhere between 135-140lbs. I used to be about 125lbs and I was very happy with my body then but recently within the past year I started eating A LOT of fast food, literally I would eat it everyday several times a day and as a result I've gained about 10lbs. I would eat McDonald's up to 3 times a day and I would also eat a lot of ice cream(blizzards), cookies, pizza, chicken wings, Chinese food, Burger King and I drank a lot of beer.

Right now I've stopped eating fast food period and I've cut down a lot on the beer. I also never used to do any exercise at all. I'm working out now everyday. I'm seeing a little difference but not enough. I need some advice on some healthier food to eat. I live alone with my dad and I've never learned how to cook anything. My dad can't cook either and the things that we can make are simple such as: kraft dinner, raviolli, chicken nuggets, tuna sandwiches, pizza pockets, spaghetti etc. These are the only things I know how to make and that's why I eat them. I need some tips on some healthier foods that are not too difficult to make.

Your doing really good cleaning up your diet and exercising.

Don't forget,it took a year to put the weight on its going to take a little bit of time for it to come off.

Slow and healthy is the way to go to keep the extra weight off.

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed. I have no idea where to start when it comes to eating healthy, lol. I'm prepared to work hard though. I'm used to being small and now that people are noticing that I'm gaining weight it's making me feel bad.

If only it were as easy to lose the weight as it was to gain it lol. Thanks for the encouragement!
