Welcome to the beautiful garden. I'm feeling spring-ish.

Let's have picnics, wine is good too- beer, hard liquor is also acceptable.

Alty makes us some sandwiches.

I'll supply the booze so whatever you want I'll bring it.

Unky you can bring some of that exotic fruit.

As for the rest of you ladies, NM, red, justy, shazy, sunny you just sit there and look pretty :)

I brought a big blanket so we can sit, eat and maybe Adam can play us some guitar [he is a cowboy right?].

Stringer, you weren't forgotten, neither were you KP, KC or Bear you boys are all still at the outdoor store getting BBQ's, guns, canoes... look like this picnic has turned into another thing.

... let's not forget my big ole BBJ. I think Joe is still at the liquor store, he insists on getting what he likes.

Beware of the hippie, artsykins comes around here from time to time to pick some flowers and enjoy some of natures other plants ;)

Now let's have fun, in the garden [try not to stare at our bushes and we would stare too hard at your stumps- teeheee]

I get my water in this:

Well, today is the day that the Christmas displays come down and packed away. Not as much fun as putting them up.

Well, time to get moving...

Tomorrow's going to be the 50th anniversary of marriage of my grandparents. I should be happy about it... but the thing is that they were not the 'loving and caring' ones I would have liked to have. They're the complete opposite. Were, not to be too harsh, 'mean'.

Well, there's quite a long story going behind it. They had more preference for their daughter and youngest son (my dad was the eldest) and they never really liked my mother. The harshest way they showed it was by giving the company (which was supposed to be for the family) to the youngest son (when my grandfather got a stroke), even if the company worked well thanks to my father's engineering abilities. Nothing was for my father and so, no heritage.

When my father got cancer, I think they felt some remorse. After that, they slowly became like before, even if they're trying to hide it. My grandfather is the worst. He is still handicapped, and as annoying as ever. He always find a way to get you on your nerves by making mean comments.

My grandmother is still trying to 'seem better' by buying a shirt, a suit, trousers and shoes for me and a 'Ki Pao' for my little sister.

Sorry, that was perhaps a little of venting :o

Sorry to hear that about your grandparents. Sadly I am sure we all have family members like that. Imagine it your own parents. That's how it is with me. But I don't care really.

I've made a very bad decision tonight.

Let me explain.

Earlier today a friend and I were talking about blow up dolls. I said that I wanted to take photos with blowup dolls doing things like:
-making a snowman
-making sandwiches
-playing video games
-driving

So we're laughing about it and so I made this community ad asking people to lend me their blow up dolls [for non sexual purposes]. Soon enough I get this email from this guy. What do I do, give him my address to come drop it off. Remember, I'm alone. Ha. Stupid face. I'm a stupid face. This is how women get raped and killed. Ugh.

More of my stoopid: I left my keys on the lock for the last couple nights...

A Blonde comes home and says to her Boyfriend I got this awesome new Tattoo today

The Boyfriend says great what did you get?

Blonde says I got a Tattoo of a Seashell on my inner thigh.

The Boyfriend says what's so awesome about that?

Blonde says well if you get really really close and put your ear to it , you can smell the ocean!!

Alty
Jan 11, 2010, 07:07 PM
You're not second fiddle. You all mean a lot to me. Every single one of you.

This is what I get for being a flirt, isn't it?

Okay, let's look at the facts here.

Stringer and Cats are out, simply because I can't compete with their wives and wouldn't even want to try. You see, I like what I've heard about Marta and I like Cat. I wouldn't ever dream of even trying to come between that. So I'll flirt, but I know it won't go anywhere.

M, KP, KC, Rome, okay, do I really have to list all of them? Please don't make me. Well, M is in a relationship, but I can't resist. You see, I've seen a picture, and he's also smart, funny, easygoing, sweet. If I was single, I'd go for it.

Rome is engaged, but he's in his early 20's, I have to flirt with him. He amuses me. He's smart, he's funny and damn, the guy is hot!

KC is.. well... KC. He is lippy, smart, funny. I like a guy with sass. I love to knock him off his pedestal. Sorry KC. ;)

KP is sexy as sin. That man sure can talk the talk. I don't have to tell you all, you've read him. Sigh.

Then there are the other boys, they're all sweet, cute, funny. They're men! I am attracted to men!

Having said all that, I think you boys forgot one major thing. The head of my harem. The main man. Really the only guy for me, even though I flirt like my life depends on it. His name is Rod. I love him dearly. Thankfully he also loves me and puts up with a lot of crap, God bless him. ;)

Did I just babble for no reason?

Ya, I did. :(

M, scooch over, I need to sit in the corner for a while.

True.

I could use some rosiness in my cheeks. Right now I'm almost blue, I'm that cold!

I'm turning up the heat and getting a blanket!

Why am I so darn cold today? :(

Hi Bear,

Whatever you just did enlarged my whole page...how is that possible? The 1/3 of the left side of my page is off the screen now...? Has this happened to anyone else?

EDIT::: It is only happening on this thread...not the others?

It's the pictures. :(

You must have a larger monitor. :)

Oh, and yes, the ice storms can be beautiful when the world is covered in glass (slick glass). But ice isn't as much fun to play in.

Maybe it is something with my screen or computer? This thread pages are still too large... I can live with it... thanks guys.

Yes I do have a larger screen... helps a lot, I think it is a 23 or 24 inch.

Stringer, Muddy's picture in the op is causing it. Bear's picture just made it a bit wider (thanks, Bear, that brought back to the original size).

We are probably going to have to deal with it until we start a new 'castle'.

Thanks, you probably are correct Cat. Although I haven't had this happen before or at least that I can remember, even when there were larger pics.

Hey Everyone. Bear, Thanks a lot for the tip. The ctrl and scrolling button really worked. Everything is smaller but fortunately I have OK eyes. I will just have to keep zooming in and out when I change threads from here and others.

No bear. Hungry for meat. I live close to a restaurant, a nice big ole fancy Italian restaurant where everything is like freshly made and the check gives you a heart attack.

I have created a very accurate state of the art demographic of what it is like. Is demographic the right word? I don't think so. I'm just throwing around words all willy nilly.

Lmao, classic :D, absolutely love it

Yes I see what you mean, the 'delicious smel'l lines from the 'yummy place' travel over the perfectly drawn grass, through/over the fence and into you house/yard/garage combo, where in they creep up on you and attack with vicious hunger pains.

Hmmm that's quite a problem :(

Wait I thought you were a veggie?

You are correcto mando.

I was a veghead for a decade and then some and then one day I was like you know what I want to eat meat, I'm tired of being anemic and I just don't want to be this person anymore.

A few months later after consuming meat I've:
Gained weight
Had bowel issues
Started breaking out
Skin started getting all greasy
Hair started falling out like crazy and it's been so flat and not as bouncy and just gross

My body is not my body any longer so I was like I don't like this and I'm back to being a veghead and it's really hard to go back.

No bear. Hungry for meat.

I'm a dedicated meat eater, but I can sympathize.
