OOps. p12 says call dealer for service for error #12

The troubleshooting guide is here: http://www.xpedio.carrier.com/idc/groups/public/documents/techlit/58-06t.pdf#xml=http://www.xpedio.carrier.com/idc/idcplg?IdcService=GET_XML_HIGHLIGHT_INFO&QueryText=dDocTitle+%3Csubstring%3E+%6058mvp%60+%3 COR%3E+dDocName+%3Csubstring%3E+%6058mvp%60+%3COR% 3E+%2858mvp%29&SortField=dInDate&SortOrder=Desc&dDocName=58-06T&HighlightType=PdfHighlight

Unfortunately, the trouble code 12 is "Blower on after power up" in that document not "Blower calibration error".

Confused. Carrier docs aren't error free anyway.

The error "Blower on after power up" is generally nothing to be concerned about. Generally means that there was a call for heat at the time the unit powered down.

Since you replaced the board, you could potentially get a new set of error codes.

If, indeed, it's a blower calibration error, then I would guess that's because the ECM motor isn't correct or the model plug from the old board wasn't installed. If the board is used and as no model plug, it assumes the last model used. If the board is new, it will not operate without an initial model plug.

Each ECM motor MUST be exact because the RPM to CFM information is programmed into the motor based on the blowers mechanicals.

The EXACT replacement must be used or the electronics module must be used from the old motor.
