For some reason one of my eBay purchases got shipped to my old address, I have bought tons of stuff since we moved and everything has made it here fine. Anyway I have a prood of delivery form from UPS saying the package was received by a woman at the address. I went to his home (it's a 2 family with a communal front door) and was told "there's no woman here" "I never received any package!" There was no signature and I have to convince the shipper to move forward with a trace. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? Do I have a Leg to stand on? Any way of meeting face to face with the delivery guy and getting a statement, or better yet having him go to the police with me?? The items in this package weren't expensive but they were irreplaceable. The driver may have gone to a wrong address but given this mans past history I SERIOUSLY doubt it.

Years ago, My Mom had sent me A couple of Books, shirts, cookies for Christmas, Driver signed off and lef it next door where neighbors had gone away for the Holidays, By the time they got back everything was ruined, It was Overnight and Insured. They would not reimburse my mom. The Guy down here in charge got a Promotion after that, for all his crap work and being a Company Man, They like not paying out money. Promotion was his reward.

For some reason one of my ebay purchases got shipped to my old address, Hello C:
I know you think she's a crook, but I think it's a civil matter. Even if it IS a criminal offense, good luck getting the cops to investigate... So, I think you'll find relief, if you're DUE relief, in civil court...
You say above, "for some reason", however in order to track down exactly WHO is responsible, you're going to have to find out want that reason was. If it was eBay who made a mistake, sue them. If it was UPS, sue them. If neither did, sue the lady who signed.. If you gave them the wrong address this time, you got nobody to sue.
Look. I'm happy to be wrong. If the cops'll arrest, and charge her, great. Call 'em up and ask.

I would like to believe that it was UPS error in not being able to provide a signature. IF a signature was required and they don't have one, they really don't have proof of delivery. Am I missing something?

For some reason if you have eBay without a verified address some will automatically ship to the verified address. Even though you put your new address on it. This problem I had. Since the driver didn't get a signature you can file a complaint and I THINK it will be the responsibility of the driver to retrieve the parcel. Have you tried to call a UPS manager? Definitely call the person you bought from and let them know you have NOT received the parcel at the address YOU provided for shipping.
