I have a 2003 model ge front load washer. I noticed that my clothes were wet after running . I tried to restart washer and washer would not spin but will drain. Any suggestions. Could it need new motor?

beck1- here is some causes of this problem:: #1- door is not closed good:: the door switch is out of adjustment<broken<or defective;; #2-
The spin soleniold is defective:: note- check out the above and if they are ok come back on to this post and let me know and i will lead you through the testing of the other parts that could be the cause :: you will need a { volt-ohm meter} to do the testing;; you csan get one from lowe's or home depot in the electrical dept. for about $15.00 ; get one that you could test at the least 250 volts a/c power;; good luck and god bless ::f.b.e.
