I have a 1991 accord ex (auto) with 320,000 miles on it.. I bought it about 2 years ago wit about 22,000 less miles on it.. since I had the car the (S) light blinks and I hooked up a jumper wire and it gave me a code 9 (No. 1 Cylinder Position Sensor (CYP)) and I guess it doesn't have the final gear because my rpms are at 3000 when I'm only doing 60 mph. someone said the cyp is in the distributor so I would need 2 change it.. I went to the junkyard and bought tha cleanest 1 I could find.. same problem.. code 9. I don't even really car about the code unless its going to give me my final fear bak. Could anyone help me with this situation?

You've obviously gotten your money's worth from the car. At a minimum, I would install a new genuine Honda distributor housing. With a bad CYP sensor, I doubt anything else will solve the problem. You can try reusing your existing ICM and coil, but I would install new ones.
