Hello!

I'm looking for resources, perferably via the net, of any websites that have Interview Questions for Help Desk positions. I need to hire a part time person for my Help Desk but would rather "borrow" atypical Help Desk questions rather than reinvent the wheel and write up my own.

Any input/suggestions are greatly appreciated! :-)

Thanks!

A great response from a Help Desk employee in another Ask Me Help Desk question (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/interview-questions/interview-questions-technical-helpdesk-22520.html):

I work in a IT Service Desk, In the interview they will ask the normal questions like
What would you bring to the role?
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

But Technical Questions
What is the difference between a LAN & WAN?
Read up about ITIL, (This is a infrastructure that the service desk put in place and adhere to, Majority companys die for people with knowledge about this)
If a Printer was broken what would you do/ask?
Have you ever managed an Incident?
How would you communicate with your team members that there is an Incident?

I have been working in IT Service Desk Roles for 3 years now and I always get asked these questions.
