I have a Culligan N8 Water Softner.
Recently I had to isloate the water from it, because the water was constantly flowing, like maybe the softner was stuck in a cycle, but the softner itself wasn't making any noise other than the running water.
Any ideas on what the problem might be?
Also, since the unit is about 15 years old, should it be replaced. And if so, are there any good alternatives to the models requiring salt that aren't real expensive?
Thank you,
Bob
