I rent a double wide trailer and the furnace is the original furnace over 25 years old. At times the furnace will cycle 30+ times prior to actually kicking on to run. There is no consistency to when this happens so I can't track why. I usually keep my heat between 62-68 degrees throughout the day.
Does this use up extra gas/electricity while this is happening?
Does something need to be fixed/replaced?
Am I looking at the furnace not working in the near future?

Thank you!

Yes there is a problem with your unit acting that way. Here is a trailer site that takes care of HVAC. Just list your problems in detail with your model number and post under Coleman.

You have a weak high limit switch or a bad fan limit control. The high limit switch will lock out the hole system in heat if it trips, when it cools down the cycle will restart. The blower only kicks on when the heat chamber reaches a set temp around 130 degrees. Its hard to say wich one is bad with out testing.
