The dryer has a drum that turns -- and spins the clothes. There is a shaft on the back
Of the drum that rides in a bearing -- the front rim of the drum rides on a wear strip --
Usually has a piece of plastic it glides on. The rear bearing kit needs to be replaced
( REAR DRUM BEARING KIT ) and the wear strip probably needs replaced. Not all
Dryers have a REAR DRUM BEARING some ride on rollers -- small wheels
What this means is the dryer needs to be tore apart and the drum removed to replace
The rear bearing -- plus the wear strip probably needs replaced -- this takes time as
It is glued in place and needs to be clamped in place and allowed to dry... Then comes
The hard part -- reassembling the dryer -- putting the drum back in is not that hard --
But getting the drive belt back on can be a bear -- tight spot and trying to put tensioner
In place is no picnic... Probably comes apart easier than it goes back together...
Most appliance stores have parts or can get them -- give them name and model
Without knowing dryer brand and model can not tell you what parts you need
REAR DRUM BEARING KIT?? Or Rollers --- Also need wear strip to support front of drum
