For one of my businesses that I have, and that would be house painting, it runs me around $425.00 per year for just liability insurance. Now, for cleaning I am sure that it would be different. But, hopefully that gives you a rough idea for liability insurance. To get my insurance I went to a real estate office that also handles insurance for businesses. They have a lot of carriers. So, I was able to choose the one with the best coverage for what I can afford.
Hopefully, someone who is in the cleaning business will come along and share what they are paying for insurance.

You may need different kinds of insurance, liability, workers compensation ins depending on the law in your state and the number of employees you have, if any, maybe commercial auto ins if you will have a fleet of vehicles, may insurance on your property i.e. buffers, floor machines, etc. if you think you want it protected from fire, theft, vandalism, etc. The cost of each line of insurance you want/need or required to have depends on the amount of insurance you want or are required to purchase, your anticpated gross receipts, number of employees, if any, etc. I would simply consult an agent, he/she will ask the appropriate questions, find a market for your needs, then quote you prices.
