Greetings, I have an Intertherm M2RC furnace running on LP. I tried to start it up a couple of weeks ago, it ran for a second then quit. The furnace is getting power, but the red LED indicator light is not lighting. With cold weather just a couple of weeks out, I could use some help.

Thanks

First try a reset. Turn power completely off to the unit and then back on. If that fails check to be sure you have LP gas in the tank. Also check to be sure you inducer fan ( the little fan that puts air into the combustion chamber is running.) You might also have a spider web in the orfice in the burner.

The next usually takes a professional to check especially with LP. The below list of parts are expensive so you might want to have someone service your unit before you just replace the parts.

If the red light isn't on, likely the little blade fuse on the control board is blown.
The transformer could be bad too.
