I appear to have a problem similar to big_lar who posted on April 12, 2006 01:04PM. I have an old Kenmore, model 110.26822692, purchased in '78. The washer fills up and aggitates until the spin cycle, then stops. The motor doesn't continue, the machine just stops. One can advance the cycle manually by turning the machine off at the cycle knob, advancing the cycle knob a click, and restarting. Then it continues through the end. This has been going on for many months. Lately it's occasionally hung up later in the cycle too. The machine was repaired several years ago for the same problem, but I don't know by whom or how, though it appeared to be a quick fix. I'm reluctant to replace the machine because the new models, the one's I can afford, don't wash well. Thanks for any advice.
