Just curious how much parts and labor should be for replacing canister and evap valve for my car. Auto shop said around 450.00 $ just wondering if I'm about to be hosed or not...

If you're able to do it yourself you would probably save about $100 or so but if you're not about to rip into it yourself then I would say it's about right. Plus you will have the work pretty much warrantied. The 2000 Civic has been known to have EVAP issues.
