My daughter is 33 and her biological father has never been in the picture. The man I married is my high school sweetheart. When I got pregnant (a one night stand) I never imagined that the biological father was that guy, I had renewed my relationship with my high school sweetheart about a week later.

I never told my husband about that one night stand, until recently.

We are now trying to decide how or if we tell our daughter. She loves her family and will be devastated, I know this and have always known that the truth would hurt so many.

The truth, never hurts in the long term. Better now, than to know find out latter, and also find out, you knew and did not tell.
