I bought two toilets from Home Depot. They are worthless and don't flush clean. I sent the receipts to you and never got a response. I want to buy a toilet of better flushing power so there is no residue left behind. I spoke to a representative at your company and I received no response. I shop at Home Depot all the time and believe me when someone is looking at your product I SPEAK SO HIGHLY OF YOUR GREAT BUSINESS. I was wondering if I could ship the toilets back to you through UPS. Both toilets are in great shape. They're only four months old. Oh by the way should I scrub them first before I call the Better Business Bureau!

Hi Todd, no one from Home Depot on the Ask Me Help Desk, sorry.
NEVER ever send receipts to anyone anywhere, unless they are copies.
I think you are stuck with your low-flush toilets. HD has a very generous 90 day return time. You missed the deadline.
I bought a new toilet at HD and spent more for a variable flush. Those cheap ones are only good for pee.
Contacting the BBB will be a waste of time.
PS: I have tons of stuff I bought at HD that is over 90 days old. Live with it if it doesn't work right. Or sue Glacier Bay.

Hello Todd,
Ask Me Help Desk (AMHD) is a message board. It is a place where people who have a problem can come and ask for advise from other people who might (or might not) have some knowledge about the subject. If you peruse the subject categories that can be about plumbing, electric, pets, health, movies, or even psychological problems. Believe me there a lot of nuts out there. The subject matter can be about just about anything. The most often ask question is probably "Could I be pregnant."
We don't sell anything. The people who respond are usually just people that have some experience in the subject who want to assist other people. Lots of times its just old people (like me) who have made the same mistakes and have learned from them.
So,
Glacier Bay is a private Home Depot brand. Glacier Bay products are usually cheaper than competitive brands. Sometimes Glacier Bay products are a good buy, but quality is on the low end of the scale. Other times Glacier Bay products are just junk. Home Depot does warrant Glacier Bay products. Getting the contact information for warranty can at times be difficult.
Usually Home Depot is pretty good about returns. I suggest that you return the toilets (with receipts) to your local Home Depot as defective or unsatisfactory. Toto is one of the better brands of toilets, but expensive. It is my understanding that American Standard now makes a good toilet but I don't know the model.
Good luck.
Joy,
Glacier Bay warranty on plumbing products are usually lifetime.

The higher the tank, better the flush. Today's toilets ( in the USA ) are 1.28 gal / per flush. That's not a lot of water. Our customers are very happy with Kohler Wellworth Lite toilets. Today, it is against the Law to sell and / or install toilet with higher flush rate.
Also, there are "Power Flush" toilets that may work for you. They are more expensive and a bit noisy - but will do the job
Hope that helps
Milo
