I have a light fixture in my mud room that is currently fed from a switch on the outside of the room. Is it possible to pigtail from the power at the fixture to install a second switch to control that fixture, as well as wire a new switch to control a new second fixture.

I've attached a diagram of what I have going on.

Thanks.

This is assuming power is being fed to the existing switch and not to the light fixture.

Yes, power is being fed to the existing switch. If the switch must always be on, then how do I turn off the fixture? Thank you for the response...

With the new switch you are installing.
If you want the existing switch and the new switch you are installing to turn the first light on and off you must replace them with 3-way switches and run 4-wire cable from the existing switch to the light and 4-wire cable from the light to the new switch.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm looking to do. Control the first fixture with the existing and one new switch, as well as power the second new switch and fixture independently. Thanks for the info
