I was wondering if any one knew how to remove a steering wheel from a 1200 cub cadet.
We are having problems getting it off. Please help

Have you removed all visible signs of attachment and can not get it off shaft? If so, soak with a penetrant overnight and apply gentle even pressure from the center of the wheel, not the outside, it will break. There may be a tool available through cub.

I recently removed the steering wheel from an old Murray. After removing the roll pin that held the steering wheel in place on the steering shaft I clamped two pair of vice grips on the steering shaft as a way two keep the shaft from turning. While I held the vice grips another person turned the steering wheel back and forth to losing it on the shaft. Yes, we shot penetrating oil between the two. It finally loosened enough to remove with quit a bit of effort.
