Hello:

When I plug in my iPhone to recharge, Itunes opens up to my page.. It shows several albums that I bought from them over the years, but probably from different computers... When I try to listen to my music, I get a message that my computer isn't authorized to receive the downloads.. But, it tells me NOTHING about how to get that authorization..

Can you help?

Have you looked here?

iTunes Store: About authorization and deauthorization (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420)

It talks about how to authorize your device so you can listen to your music.

Itunes uses DRM protection so you will need to have the file on board to listen to your music. Just follow the steps they outline.

Hi cdad:

Thanks... That's a good recourse, but I can't get it to work.. It says open Itunes and from the menu, choose XXXXX..

It says someplace else if you have version XX use such and such...

I can't FIND a menu to open and I can't FIND what version Itunes I have...

So, there I am..

If there is an icon or menu item that says "about" that normally contains the version number of the program you are using. Another way may be to reinstall iTunes and that way you not only have the latest program but also the version number you are working with.
