I have been waiting for my cancellation since November 16, 2011. Until February 2012 came and my boss asked me to submit my Labor card, Emirates ID, my passport because my sponsor will be leaving and he have to cancell my visa. I was not contacted by my sponsor since February 2012 but sometime in March I asked him if I can borrow my passport because I have to extend it because it is expiring on August 2012 but he decline my request. Last April 11, 2012 I have my instinct to check my visa status in a typing center. There they gave me a print out which states that I am already cancelled from labor on Feb 12, 2012 and in immigration Feb 13, 2012. This is without my knowledge and I haven't sign any cancellation papers because I still have remaining quitclaim to receive from the company. I called my boss without informing him that I already knew about my cancellation and he said that he was not aware if I am cancelled already or not because he gave everything including my quitclaim to my sponsor. When I called my sponsor I didn't also tell him that I knew it he said just wait for hs call because they are waiting for some money from the bank. Until last Thursday April 20, 2012 I called my sponsor and told him that I have know for my cancellation and he have to book my flight and pay my penalty because I am already overstayed.
Can I complain for the cancellation without my knowledge in the labor office? Or how will I know if they put problem on me so they can cancel me without my knowing? Please help me what to do. Thank you
