Combine 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Serve with ham.

You bake the ham, Ben, and I'll bring over the cherry sauce. What's for dessert?

Sounds yummy, But would you serve over a fresh ham or smoked or would it really matter?

For desert, how about a Pig Pickin' Cake. A family favorite here.

I'd serve the cherry sauce with a smoked or cured ham, not a fresh ham.

What kind of a dessert is that? Please post the recipe in a new thread.

Yeah, on second thought the fruit with fresh ham doesn't really seem too appetizing.
Mustard yes.
