Where do you live and work? Meal breaks on the clock are not required.

I am employed at a hotel there are a lot of days that myself and others do not clock out for our lunch breaks becase we know that we could be done for the day in less then 45 minutes that we are supposed to take we use a time clock then my manager when he does payroll manually deducts it out of checks any way I would like to know if it is legal to take time off some ones hours if they did not receive their break

Are you saying you are leaving work early because you did not take a lunch break? Do you have a contract?
