The moon is moving fairly quickly without you or anyone of us.

The same thing happens with the sun and the stars... Did you never notice it?

They are so far away that when you move, they do not seem to have moved from where they were.

It's just like when you're in a car, you see the other cars go faster, the closer they are to you, but the further they are, despite going at the same speed, they will appear to move slower. Now imagine they were much much much MUCH further. They would appear to remain still.

As for your other question, it's the same thing as you can see things in the day. If you can answer that, I don't see what you want to know...

The moon has no illumination of its own. Its light is a reflection off the sun. When the sun and moon are at certain angles, the mood can be lit up bright enough by sunlight to be seen even in daylight.

Can I ask you please to stop posting this "because I want to know" stuff. We know you want to know otherwise why would you ask the question. DO NOT ask your question in the title box. Ask your question in the larger body box. For example a title could have been lunar optical illusions then place the question in the body.
