Is there a fitting where you can drive it into wood. But about 1/2
Of thread is protruding so you can put a nut on it or wing nut.
Opposite to a female tee nut that you tap into wood?

Exactly what are you trying to do?

To attach a metal plate that has pre-drilled holes. That way
I could attach and detach it with simplicity

Best approach will depend on thickness of wood material you are using. If the wood is fairly thin, such as 1/2 or 3/4", install T nut through the opposite side, run in a screw with head on the T nut side.
Use an adhesive, such a CA glue (Super glue or Crazy glue) to lock threads in place. If T nut needs to be flush, you can counter bore for T nut and screw head or grind away the screw head.
If the wood material is thick enough, drill a pilot hole and install a hanger bolt. A hanger bolt is a fastener that has a wood thread on one end and a machine thread on the other.

A hanger bolt should work but you need to be careful with the weight loading. It has a screw thread on one end and a machine thread on the other. Use a drill to make a pilot hole, slip a washer over the end and run a machine thread nut down. The nut will bottom out and run the screw thread in. As an alternate, you can start the screw end and then use a pair of channel locks but be careful to not mess up the threads.

Yes there is. Go into any plumbing store and ask for wood screw closet bolts.(see image) Good luck, Tom
