My son-in-law is on parole and has a Parole Officer who I am sure has violated several of his rights, he has chronic pain due to nerve damage that he suffered after an operation last year and his parole officer has made his doctors crazy and she added new rules to his parole that says unless he has medication prescribed by a physician he can't take any pain meds, and now his parole officer is telling him that if his UA'S come back with any pain relievers or anything else she will revocate him and/or lock him up for 45 days, my son-in-law and my daughter also have a 8 month old son who has major medical problems and is at home on a trach and oxygen and feeding tube and has a heart condition and will require open heart surgery in the next few months, and this po keeps threatening him with cps due to their son requiring 2 caregivers if he gets locked up again --*** help

Hello h:

Complaining to the PO's supervisor will only result in MORE trouble for your son in law. These are NOT nice people... Hiring a lawyer, on the other hand, could help.

Hi excon, thanks for the answer, the problem with that is that we have contacted lawyers but they tell us that she can not use scare tactics and what she is doing is illegal but no body wants to take the case because they say that they don't want to fight the state. How do I find a lawyer that will, everybody knows its illegal what she is doing and somebody has to be in charge of PO's, they can't have all the power to do whatever they want without being held responsible for what they do too!!

You want to be RIGHT, here don't you?? You want me to agree with you, don't you?? Well, my friend, that AIN'T going to happen. You DON'T understand the people you're dealing with. You think you do, and you DON'T think I do.

In the ordinary course of events, I wouldn't take the time to argue with you - except that you're willing to throw your son in law to the dogs. So, I'm doing this for him...

Plus, this isn't my first rodeo here. When people don't want to PAY for a lawyer, they come back with the BS you did, saying that they can't find a lawyer willing to fight the state... But, that's what criminal lawyers DO every day, day in, and day out. They LOVE fighting the state. They make their LIVING fighting the state... In the real world, if you WRITE a check, you'll get a lawyer.

Now go do what you will.
