What can I do ? Garage remote works,but only close.

Is your beam blocked or misaligned?
Edit. Forget the above comment, that info is for when it opens, but won't close.
Does it try? Too much force from something binding? Broken Spring?

Check the lock button. Most doors will close with a remote when electronically locked but will not open.
