Ok in January of 2007 I registered for classes at Marian College (now Marian Universty) in Indiana. I learned from the financial aide office that I could not get any grants because of income and that my loans would not cover all costs. I then ended up dropping all classes because I was told that I could not stay without payment. Now I after a year I have been sued because the want half the tuition fees because I dropped my classes. I wasn't even in classes for a whole 30 days. I made arrangements for payment after I lost my judgement but I am still not able to pay now and they want to take me back to court to garnish my wages.
My question is is there away that I could get out of this seeming that I was basically forced out? I would appreciate as much feedback and answers as I can get!
Thanks!
