Your matchmaking works huh?
Well... I'm a sucker for a cute face, she has to love movies/music, if she's into video games; that's a plus... umm, lets see... smart, has to have a great sense of humor (im a sarcastic pr!ck), honest, confident... the works...
Find her Alty!

Okay, what about age? I'm assuming you want someone over 21, so here I go.
Hmm, cute face, video games etc. etc. My cousin is almost 21, she's gorgeous, loves music and movies, kicks butt in video games, does she have to be smart, isn't having the ability to stand upright a bonus? She's honest, not confident, a bit clingy, okay, okay, not for you.
Hmm, cute face, video games etc. etc. I'll find her, really I will, even if I have to start a thread titled "Looking for a girl for ihatewestseneca, any takers? Canadians welcome!"
Give me some time, it'll happen. Oh, I guess it would be a bad time to mention that even though allot of the people I've set up have gotten married, 99% of them have ended in divorce, the other 1% is thinking about it. Really, not my fault, once you guys get together it's up to you to make it work.
Maybe you should work on the sarcasm thing, I've got my sarcasm down to an art form.
ihatewestseneca
Mar 18, 2008, 07:19 PM
Haha... thanks but my sarcasm needs no work... its just the way I like it, people think I'm an @ss... unless of course they can detect sarcasm.
And yeah, no clingy girls please... even though I'm a magnet for them...
p.s. let me know if you need a picture for that thread! Lol
p.p.s. yes, around 21.

To be honest, alty... I've never dated an older woman before... always younger.
HC'll be a new experience.
... HC's... walking the dog. I am studying for my midterms. Wednesday, Thursday, AND Friday. Sweet.
Alty
Mar 18, 2008, 07:36 PM
Sneezy - You know that HChicky's going to get mad that you made her walk the dog. She's not a, pick up poo with a baggy, kind of girl. Shame on you, second date and already making her do chores, I thought I taught you better than that.;)
IHW - So, 21, not clingy, understands sarcasm, smart. You do realize that other than the 21 year old criteria, you are talking about my girl HC? You just might have to fight Sneezy for her. Of course at this point it shouldn't be hard, he's making her walk his dog. Just buy some flowers and you're already a step ahead.
Now I get to sit back and watch the fight! Ahh, life is goooooood!:D

My professor MAY move our Thursday midterm to Tuesday.
I sound like a giddy little child... but so far, that would be the best news I've gotten all week. West may be able to relate... but Thursday midterm's worth 40% of my grade. 1 test. 4 questions. 40%. If he moves it to Tuesday, I... will be the happiest little man in all of atl tonight.

Speaker: Welcome to McD's may I take your order please?
Me: I'll take a large Hazelnut Iced coffee, please.
Speaker: Is that all?
Me: Actually, do you have anything Larger than Large?
Speaker: Umm... no...
Me: Darnit, OK, Large will have to do.
Sad... very sad...

If you would finally get internet at home then you could keep an eye on me. I only get into trouble when you aren't here. :p
Ah, really, Sneezy and IHate are just big softies, much easier to handle that 21 five year olds. :D
Starty - When I was 20 I worked in a day care for a year. One week the flu was going around and I was the only employee that showed up. I had to take care of 52 kids ranging in age from 18 months to 9 years, all by myself. After that experience I'm actually surprised that I had kids of my own.;)
It really wasn't that bad today, would have been better if the coffee hadn't sucked, but not bad. It was E.L.K. Day (Don't ask what it stands for, I have no idea) that means that they set up 6 stations, each parent volunteer (and I use the term loosely) mans a station, the split the kids up into groups and around they go. My station was the letter station, today we learned the letter T t. They have to write the letter exactly like the teacher wants, start from the top, go to the bottom, cross at the top left to right. Apparently there are many little terms and phrases that the teacher uses to explain the steps, I wasn't privy to any of them. I finally had it down when I got to the last group, but the others, YIKES!

My favorite is Starbuck's Organic Serena but if I go into a Starbucks, I usually get a Sugar free vanilla soy latte, tall. Grande if it's early in the day.
Interesting health tidbit: One of my friends was an emergency room nurse for 13 years before going into home health and she said that she has successfully stopped afib in a heart patient with black coffee. Obviously, she's a nurse and I certainly wouldn't recommend using coffee if you have afib but she said if a person drinks coffee every day of their life and then they go in the hospital for a heart problem, sometimes the withdrawal from the caffiene can send them into afib.

I have a few minutes before getting the bunnies ready for bed. Did I mention that I was going to adopt another bunny in the next month? Well, today they did an Edmonton Humane Society special, they featured 4 pets that are up for adoption, there was a bunny that looks almost exactly like my bunny Cotton (my avatar) he's been at the shelter for over a month, he's around a year old and he was found wandering the streets in Edmonton, nearly dead. What do you think, should I adopt him, is 4 bunnies weird, am I becoming the crazy bunny lady? I need advice.

Mar 19, 2008, 10:19 PM
I have 2 males, both neutered and one undisclosed sex, he/she won't let me peek. The bunny that I'm considering getting is also male and also neutered. They are kept apart simply because bunnies tend to fight and they can do allot of damage to each other. Oh, by the way, the bunnies name is Marshmallow, I think he'd fit right in.
On a more serious note, I just read the latest posts on Captain Rich's memorial site, it seems that HC, F4U and Alty have allot in common, we've all lost parents to cancer. My parents died within 6 1/2 months of each other, my Dad died less that 2 weeks after he was diagnosed, my mother passed on 10 months after her diagnosis and my mother-in-law passed on last March 3 months after she was diagnosed. My husbands Dad died of cancer when my hubby was 16. My condolences to both of you, cancer is a horrible disease.
Okay, sad moment over, should I get Marshmallow?

F4U, Man that made me laugh. Thanks, I needed that.
Starty - Some people keep pet rabbits outside. Personally I like to have them as indoor pets, it's a well know fact that they live longer if kept indoors (especially in Canada, it gets frickin cold here) and also they are allowed more interaction with their humans and are therefore better pets. My bunnies are all big sucky babies, even my little terror Thumper. Thumper has issues, he was abused, abandoned (twice), left on the streets to fend for himself and almost died in the process. When we got him it was already his second time at the shelter and he had been there for 4 months. He still has some issues, but I've been working with him and he's my little love bunny. The fact that he can be difficult at times makes me love him even more, he's been damaged somehow, I feel a connection with him because of it, does that make any sense?
Enough sappy stuff, really, I've got to stop doing that.
F4U, thanks to your post I'm now craving chocolate. Sigh.

Our favorite thing to do while camping when I was a kid, Badminton. Memories, mark the corner of my mind, misty water colored memories. Okay, I'm not a singer.

Besides, sleep is for the weak. Plenty of time to sleep when I'm dead... from sleep deprivation.
I'm afraid I wussed out and went to bed at 3am. Darn library coffee did nothing for me.
Yep. 43 hours of staying awake. I'll save the record breaking for finals week.

Sneezy Dear, I had a dream about you last night,;) You were poking rats with sharp objects but you were so tired that you fell asleep, when you woke up you realized that the rats had all gotten together and performed a few experiments on you. Stay away from the rats today, I think this is a prediction of future events. :D
How about we go camping when you all come to Canada for the AMHD Barbecue. Synnen, I have a trailer, so you don't have to pee outdoors, and the coffee will be brewing because I'll set the timer the night before. When you have two kids roughing it is no longer a consideration, you just want to survive.:)

Mar 20, 2008, 07:23 AM
Wow... I've never actually camped in an RV... I've wanted to try, but just for the coffee and the semi-indoor plumbing thing... LOL!
I'm a tent girl, all the way! More cozy in my opinion! ;)
Mornin' Sneezy, sweet. :)
Alty
Mar 20, 2008, 07:35 AM
You can sleep outside in your tent while Synnen and I do crossword puzzles in the trailer. I'll bring the coffee right to your tent flap in the morning.:D
We used to tent it, but when my son was born we bought a tent trailer, still have the tent trailer, so not an RV, the toilet that I was referring to is a porta potty, but it's still better than peeing in the outdoors, my aim sucks, my shoes can attest to that.:o
We are trading in the tent trailer for an RV this year, mainly because of the dogs. We have to take my husbands truck to go camping and that means that the dogs have to sit it the cab of the truck, I don't like that one little bit. If we get and RV the dogs can ride in it all the way to the campground. I'm getting to old to sleep in a tent, my poor back can't take it. And the tent trailer is to small for two adults, two kids, and two big dogs.:D

Mar 20, 2008, 07:50 AM
Hee, hee, I think I get it.
Unfortunately my balance leaves something to be desired. I once had to pee at the top of a little hill, it was the only spot with tree coverage and there were other people around. Anyway, there's Alty doing the squat with her pants around her ankles, all is going well. I'm thinking, Hmm, I'm actually getting the hang of this, then I look down and there's a snake, I'm actually peeing on the snake! Scream, loose balance, topple down the hill. Hubby (who was then just boyfriend) and the strangers that were parked there, come running, find me at the bottom of the hill, covered in twigs and grass, with my pants down and my big butt mooning everyone. Really, I like indoor plumbing.

LOL! Wow, Alty... must say, that's embarrassing...
My embarrassing squatty potty story...
I was taking an overnight train from Beijing to Inner Mongolia... i.e. 22 hours on a train. NOT FUN AT ALL! But I did it. Anyway, nature called. And believe me, nature waited quite a bit whenever I was on a Chinese train. If nature wasn't kicking and screaming, she was quite patient. One time nature was pitching a hissy fit and I gave in... sadly, my timing wasn't the best because as soon as I got in, got all "situated," and well, you know, I heard the door lock from the outside and felt the train come to a stop. Mind you, train squatty potties are simply OPEN... onto the track... yeah... well, turned out we had pulled into a station... I could figure this out because of the HUGE WINDOW... there I was, HC in all her glory, squeezed up against a nasty train bathroom wall, while the watching Chinese pointed and laughed at the stupid foreigner who gave into nature at the WRONG TIME!
Embarrassing. And no coffee to make it better. Just tea. Lots and lots of TEA.
(I love tea - especially Mu Li Hua (Jasmine flower) but at that moment I WANTED COFFEE!)

My Mom has been in FL with her parents for the past week and a half - they aren't doing well at all. My Grandfather's Alzheimers is getting much worse. She's on her way back home and is going to spend the weekend at my place. Will be nice - and a good de-comp for her. She's been through Hades this past week... may hit a spa or get manicures... pamper her a little bit.
Oh and eat Cadburry :)

Why do I do this kind of stuff to myself? It will all be OK! Go get some more coffee start... right now!

Anything on ice or frozen is my weak spot. Currently my choice is Starbucks Iced Coffee Italian Roast with 4 sugar and cream. I also have 4 coffee houses and coffee drive ups that do know my name and my choice of drink. They just ask if I want the usual today and whip it up just the way I like it. I choose my coffee spot by location but mostly what I feel like drinking. And like another already said I wish they delivered, because I run a day care facility and I just don't make coffee the way the experts do, trust me I have tried.

I don't know if they're happy to have us after I give them advice, I really have no patience for stupid people doing stupid things. I've got to learn to step back. Although I was pleasantly surprised today, I got a private message from a 6th grader, she asked me to look at her thread and offer some advice because she liked the fact that I didn't beat around the bush and I'd tell her my honest opinion. Maybe I'm not so bad after all.
