Has anyone had trouble finding beef that isn't tough? Every time I buy beef it is always real tough no matter how I cook it. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make beef tender?

You need to buy different cuts of beef, basically, the more expensive cuts are more tender. Also, marinating the steaks will help a lot. Tenderloinds, filet mignon is the most tender pieces, it's not as juicy and flavorful as say, flank steak, though, but it's much less tough.

You can try pounding the beef with a meat mallet, cook rapidly with high heat or use a cooking bag, another way, is to marinate the meat for 8-24 hrs, covered in the fridge, using this marinade, I use it for beef and pork;
1 cup, olive oil
1/4 c soy sauce
3 tbsp dijon mustard
1/4 c worcestershire sauce
1/4 c lemon juice
3 tbsp honey
2-3 tbsp blackpepper
2-3 tbsp minced garlic, or powder
2-3 tbsp onion powder or salt
Mix all togethere and pour over meat, cover and refrigerate for 8-24 hrs.
