Start, I just love you!
OK, here's my two-cent's worth:
If I had a good man to 'bring home the bacon', I'd rub bacon-fat all over in extasy. - But this is only my opinion. I wonder... does it work as well as KY Jelly??
I'm outta here now, going to spend weekend with a pamper-pooper, and believe me, I wish it would smell as good as bacon. LMAO. But since I love him, I'll put up with anything he 'dishes' out.

WOW, that is a little frightening!
Did you know that Obama was in Eugene tonight? All downtown was packed full of people going to see him. I work about ten minutes away from where he spoke. Two police officers came into my work to eat and said there were no rallies or anything to worry about, they said it would be a different story if it were a republican candidate..?
I have no idea where this election is going and really I am completely confused on the whole thing... Give me something good Magatory...

Fed offers $100 billion to commercial banks - Stocks & economy - MSNBC.com (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23846737/)
Just the interest on the U.S. government's burgeoning $9 trillion debt will soon be more than the taxpayers can afford to pay. When that happens, the economy will collapse unless the monetary system is radically overhauled. Articles are appearing daily in the news that bring the looming economic crisis into sharper focus and strengthen the case for monetary reform. Foreign central banks are increasingly abandoning the U.S. dollar as a reserve currency, while the impending implosion of the housing bubble threatens to bring down the whole money system, national and international. As the riskier mortgages go into foreclosure, the institutional investors owning them as mortgage-backed securities will be left holding the bag; and these institutional investors are largely the pension funds on which the retirements of workers depend. To keep up appearances, the "Plunge Protection Team" has been authorized by presidential order to use U.S. taxpayer money to manipulate markets to make them appear healthier than they are, and lately it has been working overtime. But official assurances of a "soft landing" are mere window dressing, aimed at preventing another worldwide depression as home buyers and stock market investors stampede for the exits.

Hey, there is actually a hotel made of salt too. This guy never runs out of building or repair products right on a big part of land with nothing but salt. =: TWO QUESTIONS :=
This will cause you to stop and think!
Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had eight kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?
Read the next question before looking at the response for this one.
Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three candidates. Who would you vote for?
Candidate A.
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologist. He's had two mistresses, chain smokes, and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.
Candidate B.
He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.
Candidate C.
He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer, and has never cheated on his wife.
Which of these candidates would be your choice?
Decide first...
No peeking...
Scroll
down
for
the
name
of
each
candidate.
Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt
Candidate B is Winston Churchill
Candidate C is Adolph Hitler
And, by the way, on your answer to the abortion question: If you said YES, you just killed Beethoven.
Pretty interesting isn't it? Makes a person think before judging someone.
And finally, can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:
* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse
* 7 have been arrested for fraud
* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks
* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
* 3 have done time for assault
* 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting
* 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
* 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year
Can you guess which organization this is?
Give up yet?
It's the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

As long as gold keeps heading upwards of $1500.00 an ounce, it may work out for you. But, what if it doesn't. Then I suppose you will be the last to get paid, if you get paid at all.
Also, this is pretty new so it is ripe for scamming. Personally, I would be very careful. I would want the gold in hand. If you have a little cash to spare and really want to speculate, then go for it. I wouldn't give them my rent and food money any time soon though. Someone may pull the rug out from under the gold market at any moment.
As far as trading the FOREX, better know exactly what you are doing. Practice with Monoply money first.

With all of the CRAP going on everywhere around us, I feel it very necessary to share what happened today. We live in the country, no neighbors close enough for the kids to go knock on a door and play with other kids. My two youngest boys of 6 and 4 are the best of friends, they do everything together, they go in the deep forrest together, they share their food with each other, they watch movies as close as they can get with one another, these guys are definitely best buds. They are both ALL boy, they love getting dirty and they love to pretend to hunt cougars for the safety of their family, lol. They always seem to amaze me, As I lookout the window to make sure they are still "alive" I see these two young things walking up the driveway, and see the oldest, Jett with his arm around the youngest Max, walking together, talking and laughing. Who the heck knows what they say to each other out there alone like that, who the heck knows what they were even laughing at, but as the sound of their sweet giggles got closer, I found myself in complete heaven being able to catch this very moment. It will stay with me forever, all of these moments as with these two boys they aren't scarce but often and tremendous. They have no idea what they do to me. Thanks for reading, I just had to share this. Start

=: TODAY'S MEDIA :=
A man is walking through the zoo when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to devour her right in front the little girl's screaming parents.
The man runs to the cage, hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain, the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the man returns her to her terrified parents.
A reporter has seen the whole scene and says to the rescuer:"Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I saw a man do in my whole life."
"Why, it was nothing," said the man. "Really, the lion was behind bars and I knew God would protect me just as He did Daniel in the lions den long, long ago. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt was right."
"I noticed a bible in your pocket, are you a Republican," asked the journalist.
"Yes, and I'm a Christian on my way to a bible study," the man replies.
"Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed... I'm a journalist and tomorrow's paper will have this on the front page."
The journalist leaves. The following morning the man buys the paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on first page:

2-Faced Baby is Hailed As an Indian Goddess
Posted on: Wednesday, 9 April 2008, 09:00 CDT
A baby with two faces was born in a northern Indian village, where she is doing well and is being worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess, her father said Tuesday.
The baby, Lali, apparently has an extremely rare condition known as craniofacial duplication, where a single head has two faces. Except for her ears, all of Lali's facial features are duplicated - she has two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes.

Priest carried aloft by balloons missing
Fund-raising stunt goes awry, but supporters hopeful
The Associated Press
Updated 2:48 p.m. MT, Mon. April. 21, 2008
SAO PAULO, Brazil - A Roman Catholic priest who floated off under hundreds of helium party balloons was missing Monday off the southern coast of Brazil.
Rescuers in helicopters and small fishing boats were searching off the coast of Santa Catarina state, where pieces of balloons were found.
Rev. Adelir Antonio de Carli lifted off from the port city of Paranagua on Sunday afternoon, wearing a helmet, thermal suit and a parachute.
He was reported missing about eight hours later after losing contact with port authority officials, according to the treasurer of his Sao Cristovao parish, Denise Gallas.

Bank of Canada lowers target for overnight rate to 3%
By Kate Gibson
Last update: 9:07 a.m. EDT April 22, 2008Print RSS Disable Live Quotes
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- The Bank of Canada on Tuesday said it is lowering its target for the overnight rate by 50 basis points to 3%, with the bank projecting a "deeper and more protracted slowdown in the U.S. economy." The bank forecast the Canadian economic would grow by 1.4% this year, and 2.4% in 2009
Sorry Canada but the New World, Banking Elites have us all by the Chick Peas. America has given them the strength and power to manipulate the world. The common American wants no part of this but if we don't pay them the tax, we go to jail.

Mag, not sure if you saw this one yet...
Will Rogers, who died in a plane crash with Wylie Post in 1935, was probably the greatest political sage this country has ever known. Enjoy the following:
1. Never slap a man who's chewing tobacco.
2. Never kick a cow chip on a hot day.
3. There are 2 theories to arguing with a
Woman... neither works.
4. Never miss a good chance to shut up.
5. Always drink upstream from the herd.
6. If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.
7. The most quick way to double your money is to fold
It and put it back in your pocket.
8. There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn
By reading; the few who learn by observation; the rest
Of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out
For themselves.
9. Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of
That comes from bad judgment.
10. If you're riding' ahead of the herd, take a look
Back every now and then to make sure it's still there.
11. Lettin' the cat out of the bag is a whole lot
Easier'n puttin' it back.
12. After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt
So good he started roaring. He kept it up until a
Hunter came along and shot him.
The moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut.
ABOUT GROWING OLDER...
First ~ Eventually you will reach a point when you
Stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.
Second ~ The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.
Third ~ Some people try to turn back their odometers.
Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way.
I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't
Paved.
Fourth ~ When you are dissatisfied and would like to
Go back to youth, think of Algebra.
Fifth ~ You know you are getting old when everything
Either dries up or leaks.
Sixth ~ I don't know how I got over the hill without
Getting to the top.
Seventh ~ One of the many things no one tells you
About aging is that it is such a nice change from
Being young.
Eighth ~ One must wait until evening to see how
Splendid the day has been.
Ninth ~ Being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable.
Tenth ~ Long ago when men cursed and beat the ground
With sticks, it was called witchcraft. Today it's
Called golf.
And finally ~ If you don't learn to laugh at trouble,
You won't have anything to laugh at when you are old.

True? Or False?
If a immigrant is over 65 they can apply
For SSI and Medicaid and get more than my mom gets for Social Security, and she worked from 1944 till 2004, only getting $791 per month because she was born before 1924 and there is a "catch 22".
It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also obtain an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of$2,470.00/month.
This compares very well to a single pensioner who after contributing to the growth and devlopment of America for 40 to 50 years can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 00 in old age
Pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.
Maybe our pensioners should apply as
Refugees!
Maybe get the refugees cut back to $1,012.00 and the pensioners up to $2,470.00 and enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years.
All older Americans must demand that any person who actually worked for their Social Security
Gets at least as much as an alien if not more!

I just have to add to this, I do so agree that it is quite easy to live off the system, but if you want a normal and worthy life we all know we have to work really hard to get there.
There are so many that the system really does help, then there are those who use the system for life long security... I just wanted to clear it up that we cannot generalize in one big group, the people that are on assistance. I think there are good and bad ways to get help from the state. We all know when we see it, they all know when they do it. ;)

I had a long talk with my 80 yr old uncle on the subject of the 'new world order' and he was surprised that our ideas about politics and history were so similar. He always thought that I was not interested in the subject. The only reason most people didn't approach the subject with me was due to me being just a 'little woman'... and I thought they wouldn't be interested in my views for the very same reason. So, I just hope that our future generations stop wearing blinders and passing along their predudices of the sexes, race and religion.
If you wanted to give your child or grandchild a book to help him seriously think about the future - which would you choose?
EDIT:::: When looking for information about the Bilderbund Group in other languages, the german Google does not indicate any political information at all - IRONIC! And, only a little is published about the new world order...

I am always interested in things that use "always" to describe them, which I have learned the hard way, such as "People always get upset when I tell them that they are stupid because they are not buying gold, even in response to Alan Greenspan of the Federal Reserve destroying the dollar by creating so much of them, so that the damned government can spend us into bankruptcy, and then they REALLY always get upset when I say that their stupidity has doubtlessly been passed along to their ugly, mutant children, who are, on average, the most ignorant, most stupid, most self-absorbed, most violent, most criminal bunch of worthless trash ever created in America, as indicated by standardized testing and personal experience, mostly from having a few of the rug-rats myself."
Then, last but not least, I have had this freaking cold that seems to have mutated from some exotic strain crossed between the black plauge and the Lum Puckaroo which has caused me to cough myself into a near delusional state as well as seemingly loosen my eyeballs from their very sockets. Yesterday, I finally had to duct tape my eyeballs in place so not to splatter them against the bed room wall in the next coughing event. Now, I wish I had duct taped my butt shut. I'll not elaborate on that unsightly incident for sake of the week of heart... or stomach, in the crowd.
All in all, there are now more people on government payrolls (22,385,000) than goods producing payrolls (21,618,000)! Hahaha! We are so freaking doomed! What makes it So Damned Funny is that a conceited, self-absorbed nation like America, that boasts how smart we are, cannot possibly realize the utter, utter stupidity of this! Hahaha! And yet, here it is! Dare I repeat myself that we are freaking doomed? Sure! We're freaking doomed! Hahaha!
So with that, I remove the duct tape from my eyes and simply await the next violent coughing spree, daring my eyeballs to blow out of my skull, crash into the far wall exploding on contact. You see, I am just plain tired of watching this madness any longer.
Goodnite. Good luck. Good Spam.

Dear Mag..
In comment to your post #1169, I know how frustrating things can get and sympathise with you all the way.
As to having kids, we are darned if we don't and darned if we do, but we can at least guide the ones we bring into the world to have a better understanding and outlook on reality, once they have gotten over the peer pressure phase of wanting everything right now and expecting the world to furnish it.
I have one of the best sewing machines in the world, had it since 1974 - and you can still get spare parts for it today from Pfaff. It sews nylon, leather, silk, and makes beautiful embroidery stitches - in other words - the best. But while trying to sell things that my daughter has no interest in (I used to sew all her clothes and mine, designed a few and she was always well dressed as a baby and toddler) sewing. She is of the generation that goes to seamstresses to have her clothes altered. Guess what, when the cost of living and food goes up, there will no longer be much left for seamstresses and that generation will wish they'd had more interest in sewing at home for fun and using imagination. Imagination - that's gone dead too. When I was a kid, my barbie doll came with a bathing suit, and I sewed all her clothes by hand - Ken's too. They looked great - but now you can get Designer clothes for this couple - and spend the bucks for it. I also made their house with cardboard, scrap material, wood and glue - now they can buy a whole house which gets thrown away when they get too old for it because no kid wants second-hand stuff. They don't even need to learn basic math because there is always a calculator or computer around to make things easier. I honestly feel sorry for that generation and feer for Alexander's generation. They will either have to relocate to another planet or become slaves of some war-monger chieftan - it scares the heck out of me. But I love them both, even with their shortcomings and hope they will survive somehow.
That's why I don't mind at all that my time is almost up - I'm ready to get out of this body and watch over them from somewhere with no more pain - and being free!
Guess what, I got an email from an IRS site telling me I can click and cash in my tax rebate of over $400 - the thing is though, I have not worked in the States since selling Tri-Chem in the late 70's. Of course it was scam/spam, but it's interesting how people take advantage of everything under the sun to lie to us and milk us dry - not caring that all we want is to live in simple comfort and help our kids grow up to be halfway decent. At least that's been my goal. Even though I was an administrator, inside and outside of the home, and never wanted to become a millionair - but I didn't ever want to be on wellfare either. I am now officially retired a of this month, so I will get retirement pay for maybe 5-6 months and the 'state' will get the remainder of my hard earned donations - that p*sses me off.
I still hope that all mothers of the world love their children enough to teach them the truths about this planet and the puppet-masters because if they don't learn - the are doomed.
Sorry about your current ailment. Feeling like a train with two exits, no waiting (stomach wise) is no fun - especially if the sink is too far away from the toilet...
A hint - if your sinus problem does not get better soon, try horseraddish - it clears everything in the nasal passages and makes your eyes water - but you'll feel better in the end. I use it for my allergies this time of year - a lot better than prescription meds.
Well, I'll get off my soapbox now, but just wanted to let you know that you are not alone hon, and I sincerely hope that the rug-rats of this world will put their playstations down for a while, learn from our mistakes and make their future better. If the human race does not do something to change, this planet will do it for us and it will survive without our species... so in the longrun this planet will win.
http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_11_2.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSYYYYYYMXDE)Assassination of puppet-masters should become legal, IMO, but who would then take their place??

These people now days would die if they couldn't find a wall socket and a cable connection. When my TV dies, that's it for me. Anything that is dollar-denominated will appear to cost more, not because it is more valuable, but because the currency they use to buy it is less valuable. As long as the dollar is sinking, oil and gold will go up.
I can't afford to buy gold, but I have six cans of Castrol oil so far and going strong!!!

I found out I'm old today. I was at west Edmonton mall, wearing the sweater I have on in the profile picture. I was waiting with little Kayla while Nicki was shopping in La-senza for garments to accommodate our evening escapades.
When a young fellow and his mom and "I think" sister were walking by, I had already noticed we had the same sweater on.
His sister was laughing and pointed it out to him, and he had this look of pure disgust on his face. I knew what he was thinking before I overheard him say to his mom " Where did you buy this? Walmart!?!"
I wanted to yell at him and say Your mom spent good money on that sweater!" But I was a little embarrassed as well, having thought I could wear kids clothing. LOL, I'm going out tomorrow and buying old man slacks and golf shirts.

I'd be right out there with you, making curtains and baskets and wicker furniture out of palm/tree leaves and bark. And finding tasteful roots and herbs to spice up any meal not to mention wild onions. I can also tell the difference between good and bad mushrooms and learned how to skin rabbits and deer, so we would not be out of meat - although it's not as good as spam.
Heck, even dried leaves from trees make good cigars, so I won't be without my vices and other comforts. We would not need more than Birch trees to make good old aspirin and not need any other meds because there would be no Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome - unless bird's singing stresses you out.
It's all in the mind - if it gets a chance to develop and be used for more than just 'blowing away'.
Do you sometimes get the feeling that you were born in the wrong era? I do - but nobody asked us.
So, teach your rug-rats the simple stuff (whether they want it or not)- it might help them survive some day.
TTFN, have a good weekend!

Greg my dear, you have a right to wear anything you want. You earned it - your mom did not buy it for you. That kid would be lucky if he earns enough money some day to afford the clothes on his back, so I would not worry about him or any designers of 'acceptable' fashion for those over 20.
I'm over 50 and still wear high-heels, none of those 'granny shoes' for me, and still wear V-neck despite my liverspots and wrinkles. I bleach my hair and wear make-up - you should see the looks and comments I get, but I know something they don't want to believe yet - some day they will be my age and get looked at by the younger generation in distaste too.

Spam sales rise as consumers trim spending - U.S. business - MSNBC.com (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24861341)
Spam's maker, Hormel Foods Corp., reported last week that it saw strong sales of Spam in the second quarter, helping push up its profits 14 percent. According to sales information coming from Hormel, provided by The Nielsen Co., Spam sales were up 10.6 percent in the 12-week period ending May 3, compared with last year. In the last 24 weeks, sales were up nearly 9 percent.
I like to think that maybe, just maybe, I had a little something to do with the increased sells of Spam. I tout the benefits of Spam everywhere I go. It's inexpensive, delicious and a great alternative to Mutton. As a matter of a fact, just yesterday, I added three more cases to the larder.

Yes, BUT, Spam is a completely man made product that can not be duplicated by mere mortals. Anyone can smoke up some bacon. Spam on the other hand, requires a regiment of highly educated scientist. It has to be chopped, spiced, formed, and coaxed into a can. That's why it has only been in existence for a mere 71 years. Before then, humans did not have the technology to pull it off. The gel alone requires extremely sophisticated equipment that injects it in the precise volume as opposed to the mass of the meat and the volume of the can. That's why you never see counterfit Spam. I am amazed at the problematic nature of a seemingly innocent looking can of Spam... just amazed.

I am not amazed that you are amazed. You compare bacon to Spam when that is like comparing apples to oranges. Spam cannot even be compared to ham since ham is of inconsistent flavor, color and most importantly, taste. Spam is consistent with each serving. Uniform in color, texture, taste, right down to the consistancy of the gel that cushions it from the bangs and bruises of a hostile, outside world. I'll agree, bacon has it's place but for my food dollar, Spam is the first choice.

Hey Chery. So it is bike time ugh? When you feel every crash as if it were your own. :)
I know what you mean. His mom and dad ride bikes too and they already have a helmet for him when he rides with mom on her bike and he actually wears it in the house some times.. so I feel confident about the 'safety' part. Every time he comes to visit and I see new scars, scratches and bruises I just cringe, but his mom said it happened to her too when she was his age - ah, the young reminding us oldies that we shouldn't be so freaked - but I can't help it.
His last excapade was thinking he could hold on to the curtain to stop from slipping - well now they have to repair the curtain rod and his bump is almost gone... I swear I would have freaked if I were there... but his mom has everything under control - thank goodness.
By the way - all you dads out there... Happy belated Father's Day!

I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline.
Got a call center in Pakistan .
I told them I was suicidal.
They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck.

Digital Angel (http://www.digitalangel.com/)
Sympathy For The Devil
(M. Jagger/K. Richards)
Yo!. Yo!. Yo!
Woo Good!.
Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith
And I was 'round when Jesus Christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that Pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game
I stuck around at St. Petersburg
When I saw it was a-time for a change
Killed the czar and his ministers
Anastasia screamed in vain
I rode a tank
Held a general's rank
When the blitzkrieg raged
And the bodies stank
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name, oh yeah
Ah, what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, ah yeah
(whoo whoo, whoo whoo)
I watched with glee
While your kings and queens (whoo whoo)
Fought for ten decades (whoo whoo)
For the gods they made (whoo whoo)
I shouted out, (whoo whoo)
"Who killed the Kennedys?" (whoo whoo)
When after all (whoo whoo)
It was you and me (whoo whoo)
Let me please introduce myself (whoo whoo)
I'm a man of wealth and taste (whoo whoo)
And I laid traps for troubadours (whoo whoo)
Who get killed before they reached Bombay (whoo whoo, whoo whoo)
Pleased to meet you (whoo whoo)
Hope you guessed my name, (whoo whoo) oh yeah (whoo whoo)
But what's puzzling you (whoo whoo)
Is the nature of my game(whoo whoo), oh yeah, get down, baby (whoo whoo)
(whoo whoo, whoo whoo)
(whoo whoo)
(whoo whoo)
(whoo whoo)...
Pleased to meet you (whoo whoo)
Hope you guessed my name, (whoo whoo) oh yeah (whoo whoo)
But what's confusing you (whoo whoo)
Is just the nature of my game (whoo whoo) um yeah (whoo whoo)
Just as every cop is a criminal (whoo whoo)
And all the sinners saints (whoo whoo)
As heads is tails (whoo whoo)
Just call me Lucifer (whoo whoo)
'Cause I'm in need of some restraint (whoo whoo)
So if you meet me (whoo whoo)
Have some courtesy (whoo whoo)
Have some sympathy, (whoo whoo) and some taste (whoo whoo)
Use all your well-learned politesse (whoo whoo)
Or I'll lay your(whoo whoo) soul to waste,(whoo whoo), um yeah (whoo whoo)
Pleased to meet you (whoo whoo)
Hope you guessed my name, (whoo whoo) um yeah (whoo, whoo)
But what's puzzling you (whoo whoo)
Is the nature of my game, (whoo whoo) um mean it, (whoo whoo) get down
(whoo whoo) (whoo whoo)
(whoo whoo) (whoo whoo)

Listen up brothers and sisters. Come hear my desperate tale.
I speak of our friends of nature trapped in the dirt like a jail.
Vegetables live in oppression served on our tables each night.
This killing of veggies is madness. I say we take up the fight.
Salads are only for murderers. Coleslaw's a fascist regime.
Don't think that they don't have feelings just because a radish can't scream.
Carrot Juice is MURDER!

As for 'Digital Angel'... Too many thoughts entered my mind looking at that site... maybe I've just watched and read too many science fiction in my life that this makes me wonder who exactly is behind all of this 'wonderful' stuff.
I know where my pet is and I can call my family on the phone...

All of this used to mean a lot more to me than it does now. But it's not just the U.S.A. - this whole darned world is going to h*** in a bucket.
I had the pleasure of watching the POSTMAN again last night and in my opinion this movie and the Jeremiah series on TV would be good educational watching for any children today.
Unfortunately the world's leaders are going to bring it that far and I just hope that there will be enough books and other media that help survivors start over by learning basics of life and proper respect for others instead of letting other maniacs try to take over again and again and again... History repeats itself but oh how I wish the chains will eventually be broken and our little ones have a chance to make things better.
Love you Mag... you've opened many eyes - so don't go and close your's and don't close your mouth either - there are lot's who need to hear you.
HAPPY 4TH of JULY!
Smarty-pants... you know I wish we were geographically closer because there would be a lot of long nights talking and more...
Love,
Chery

Ohhh the Postman is my one favorite movies of all time. I have seen it time and again and always think it is the closest thing to truth than any other movie. It could happen and IS happening. I wish too that parents would let their kids watch good shows that teach us what we were once about. I let my older kids watch my fave war flicks, my fave history programs, especially the ones that teach good lessons or give really good info and let them finish the story in their own minds. My oldest gets it, my daughter 11 still asks many questions... Chery, ou are so right.
I agree Mag has opened not only my eyes, but I have to let it be known that what I know goes to my kids... and their friends, and their friends parents, whether it is ohhh guess what I heard from the crazy lady start, or if it is oh my gosh I have never thought about it like that... it trickles down, and Mag, I count on you sometimes for "new" stuff... so don't let us down;)
Chery, I can feel you and see you and I snuggled up in your little place, talking and laughing, hugging and crying... sharing life stories, kids and friends and family. I know we already have, but in my heart I know there is so much more.
Happy Fourth of July! Hugs!
Chery

Hi start.. thanks for helping me let Mag know how much he contributes. AND I think it's super that you let it trickle along too, as I do. I don't care if people think I'm nuts.. I talk to the kids in my neighborhood a lot and their parents don't mind (yet) - even if they did, at least we planted the seed (with Mag's help) to let kids know that the world has many curtains and all they have to do is keep the incentive to draw a few of them open to see what's behind
Being in a Relationships Expert, I read a lot of 'my only love', 'I want him/her back' and 'I'll never love again' - which is all part of human emotion and as such a valid malady. But many time I just want to say, hey - there are so many things going on in the world that you can exert your energy on to try and change things to make it better for everyone instead of just worrying about a 'broken heart' that you'll forget within a year.
What this site has done for me in that respect is beyond words. I am able to express myself, my fears, and hopes, and wish other's would be able to share and communicate their views and thoughts as we do here. If more people came here to see and share, there would probably be less people feeling alone in the world and start hooking up with others around them to gain strength and create their own little 'underground'. It's high time that those blinders most people wear get replaced with some common sense and initiative.
It's OK to want warmth, peace and happiness... but it's also important to look around and see reality and where one can help at least one hour a day... or there just might not be many days left to indulge in self-pity.
You reaching out and helping me even though you have your plate full, is an example and believe me, dear - it's helped me change and I appreciate and love you all the more for your support.
So, from one crazy lady to another - don't stop spreading the news and keep hoping that our 'younguns' have a future.
Love,
Chery

Speeking of crazy, I looked all over the place for the 'bilderbund' group in the german internet... DUMMY Me!
I went back to look at the clip from the 'new world order' and realized that it's the 'bilderberg group', so I googled in the german sites and found many clips in the german sponsored YouTube. I then sent the link to all my friends and relatives in Germany. I know it's not the nicest news to send them, but I thought it was time to wake them up a bit.
I wonder what their response will be.
Will let you know what they have to say, if anything.

Hi again... to tell you what my family and othes have said... well, the kids can recognize truth, and they see possibility in everything... (sometimes when we don't think anything is possible) So the kids are cool with me spreading the word...
My husband thinks I am getting too much info already from the net, so any new info is pretty much a given that I have gone nuts. My dad and two brothers, well, Dad won't tell me that he hasn't watched the video(s) I have sent him and to say the least, he won't go into much detail unless he knows what he is talking about so he and I aren't really discussing anything about it. One brother says... "Start, it is about time you start thinking for your self, welcome to my kind of living"... my other brother says, "Start, now don't you go buying into all that crap"...
I think to myself, I have been buying into all sorts of crap in my 33 years of life, it is high time to stop, and if this is where I start to stop, then so be it!!
Chery, I think back before I got to know all of you great and vocal people, I am so happy I did. I am a better person here, and on the streets of my town because of all of you. Even the people I have never said hello to on a personal level, their stories conjur up something in me to make a difference. Some day, I will be able to come up with the right words to express my deepest gratitude to some of you here on the desk.
As I sit here and finish the left over potato salad, baked beans and thinned out burger... I am wishing you all a safe Fourth of July. I am pretty sure that if Mag doesn't come back, you and I will be the only ones left here to carry on...
(I almost feel like going to buy a truck load of spam) He would be proud;)

Hi Start.. I have no idea where Mag is hiding, and I too hope he makes an appearance soon. I checked the last time he posted and that was like on the 8th of July on another thread.
You are not the only one who started getting involved in such issues dear. I don't get out much and when I do, it's usually near mostly german-speaking folks - so I avoid political or religious conversations because my way and thier's of thinking are not the same. So, I go and talk about stupid daily stuff that does not offend anyone and go home feeling as if I wasted prescious time with blinger-wearing individuals who want to blame any other country but their own for their plight. It makes me sick and I will not stress myself out over these ignorant individuals any more... I'm sure you feel the same way sometimes.
Well, honey, if Mag does not come back, there are other threads where you and I will surely meet and have serious or even flighty chats in... as I too am so glad that we met and can talk to each other and the rest of the good people here.
C.U. on the forum.

Awww, we are a lot alike. Cept lately, I don't keep my mouth shut as much. I think I may need my Jaw screwed shut! ;)
I want to tell you, I am going to be gone for vacation for a week. I am bringing my puter, but mostly for pictures on it to show all of the family I get to see from Alaska! We don't get the net where we are going... at least not at the speed I am used to and I could have a heart attack waiting for a page to load... so... hugs and love to all who read this .
PS.
Captain, I am pulling the trailer all by myself with the kids... 6 hours. I will be calling you if I need help with my flat tire. Heehee (you better show before people get worried about you more than they already are);)
