I am an ametuer repair person with a simple possibly stupid question, I cannot open the Kenmore Elite dryer to change the heater fuse :confused: How does one open the back of the unit to view the heater fuse?

You must remove the 2 lint screen screws and raise. Remove 3 screws to the console and raise the lid.Remove the screws on back. You should noew be able to access the fuse. Any further hewlp, post back as there are 3 ways to opne kenmore units up

As I said, this isn't the only way to open unit up. I mention to post back for further help and happy to give it but do not appricate red marks for trying to help. You didn't even provide with a model # so I was justing guessing as to the model you have.

I apologize, I did not mean to give you a red flag. I tried to change my response, but it would not let me. Is there any way I can change a negative to a positive? You actually helped me tremendously and I am thankful for all the help that you gave me.
