Why does my fiancŽ lose his erection if he retains ejaculation once or twice?
My fiancŽ and I have been having sex for over a year but this has recently been happening to him. When we have sex,he ejaculates faster than normal and feels terrible for leaving me behind. So he has tried the climax control condoms which don't help much and retaining the ejaculation until I am done(he never did this with his past relationships). There are times in which we start with foreplay and he gets an erection and he penetrates, after a couple of minutes he is ready so he retains it and takes his penis out. Then he goes back in but he claims he doesn't feel any sexual stimulation anymore and suddenly he loses the erection. It also happens to him when he retains the ejaculation twice in the same night. It has become frustrating for him because he either ejaculates sooner and leaves me half way or he loses his erection when he retains ejaculation.I've done some research but the closer I've gotten to it is PE(premature ejaculation)which makes sense since he didn't do this before but the lack of stimulation doesn't add up.When it happens I try to comfort him by telling him it's all right but he should seek medical help.Like the majority of men he is stubborn and won't listen.I'm starting to think that this problem is due to his age.He is 38 yrs old. When he was younger he was like all men sexually active and used to masturbate a lot.I don't know if it's me who is doing something wrong or there is something serious going on with his body. Please help!

He does need to get a check-up. The erection problems may be a symptom of other medical issues such as blood pressure, heart, Diabetes, etc. If he is already on medication (or drinks, smokes, or uses recreational drugs), it could be an interaction between one type of medication and another or even with certain foods/drinks. His doctor would be able to give him a better idea of what might be going on.

I doubt it is anything you are doing. If it isn't a medical issue, it could be any number of factors including diet, exercise, sleep patterns, stress, distractions, etc.

Continue being supportive and encourage him to get a check-up. If he gets a clean bill of health, then you can begin looking for other causes.
