I have been with my boyfriend for 8 years and I have a daughter that not his she is 9 and her real father pays child support . Wow 28.00 a month . Low life.I am o n s.s.I and my boy friend works has a good job he has been there for my daughter sents she was a baby.How can he adopt her . Can I get her real fathers right taking away ? My boy friend and I can't get married at this time so how can we go about him adopting her . Can we get her real father for abandonment? Thanks

You can if you get him to sign over his rights. I have heard many times on this site, that they are more willing to let your boyfriend adopt if you are married though. Good luck!
