    I detest the word "real" in relation to parents. ALL parents are "real"--birth, adoptive, foster, whatever.

    In any case--how old are you? When was your adoption?

    Not as much as I do, a "real" mother to me is the one who was there when you were sick, who was there for you when you had something at school, helped you with your homework.
    No love here on the use of words.

    But you are looking for the bio mother, is it the same father ? He is remarried ? Were you adopted or are you in foster care ?

    How old are you ? Where are you at ?

    But you start by asking the people rasing you about it.
