    Thr to fing your birth certificate and look at who the mother and father are that how I found out I was adopted! :)

    First--this is a very old thread, and the original poster probably isn't coming back to see your advice.

    Secondly--in a LEGAL adoption, the names on the birth certificate are changed to those of the adoptive parents. Looking at a birth certificate isn't going to mean a THING if everything was done legally.
