    Would one beer fail me?
I drank one beer at 3pm and got random EtG at 7:30 the same day, four and a half hours later. Would my EtG level be apparent. In other words would I fail?

Probably so. EtG peaks about 4-5 hours following consumption. Your timing couldn't have been worse.

I will have to agree, it is very likely you will fail. What was this test for, employment, criminal court like parole, or civil court like child custody

What level EtG will one beer show?
I drank one beer 4 hours before an EtG urine sample, how many nanograms will this show in a lab test?

There is no way to calculate nanograms of EtG produced from a given amount of alcohol. I use a figure of 6000 ng in urine for each standard drink.

The alcohol content in one beer would peak at about 30-40 minutes. EtG would peak at about 4-5 hours. The alcohol would be gone from your system in about 1-1/2 hours. EtG would take about 10-20 hours to drop below 100 ng.

Your problem is that you are at the maximum level of EtG at the time you present.

Click on the link below and look at Figure 1, Graph A which shows the offset of time span between EtOH and EtG.

    Clinical Chemistry

While it isn't possible to tell you the exact reading it will be in the thousands as it will be at the high point at 4-5 hours. From there it begins to eliminate over a period of about another 10 hours. So the reading first climbs, reaches max, and then declines... ever changing in quantity across time, per graph.

What level should one beer show though? More than 100ng? This test is criminal court ordered.

At that time interval it is going to be far in excess of 100 ng cutoff. In all likelihood in the thousands. (see above)

Hello! I'm confused about the beer types. One is called draft beer, the other one, I don't know the name. OK, as far as I understand draft means that it is not pasteurized as opposed to the bottled and canned beer, but draft canned beer is sold, so it looks like contradictory. Can smebody explain...
