    ZZZquil and ETG
Would two doses of ZZZquil (10% alc.) taken at bedtime show up on an EtG test 36 hrs. later? I didn't realize it had alcohol in it until after ingestion and now I'm freaking.

Really? I don't buy that and I am guessing they won't either. The test can't tell the difference between an incidental exposure and the intentional consumption of alcohol.

Yes, really. I am being 100% serious. I usually by the capsules to help me sleep and they contain no alcohol. The store was out and so I bought the liquid form. I didn't realize it had 10% alcohol until the next day.You don't have to buy it... I asked the question because that is what happened. Why would I want an answer to something that isn't true?

It doesn't matter if you are 100% serious or 10% serious. You ingested alcohol and now you have a test. The results are going to be what they are going to be. Even though I have never been involved in anything like that, I also assume that they don't accept too many excuses whatever the excuse may be.

I am not planning on giving ANY sort of excuse. What happened, happened.. agreed. I was just CURIOUS if anyone had an idea of the probability of passing or failing, which you obviously don't. Thanks anyway.

36 hours isn't that long for a test that is accurate for 60-80 hours after consumption. The amount of alcohol consumed will play a large factor in this. It is a small amount and there is about even odds that it will be out of your system by time you test, but there could still be some residual amounts in there so it is hard to say. I would give you even odds.

If you pass you're going to need to be more careful with what you consume, be it zzzzquil or food or drink. There are a lot of hidden sources of alcohol as you have seen and if you're not careful a white wine sauce will put you in a bad situation.

    Good luck.
