Can anyone help me

I drank a pint of georgie vodka on Saturday, and finished at 12pm. I have to a urine test on Monday at 3pm for probation. Will I fail the test?

So tell us....why did you do this since you know you have a test coming up? You ask for help but I think you need more help than anyone here can actually give you since you did this knowing you had a test coming AND you made this thread back in August:

...and take the time to notice, and read again, post #9 in that thread....written by you....yet here we are again in the same situation.

With that said, it's somewhat difficult to tell if you will pass at this point. You are so close with this time period that it could really go either way. If you pass, I am sure we can expect to see more from you in the future. You are not helping yourself by doing this and if you keep it up, you will eventually pay the price.

At 48 to 51 hours, it doesn't look good. But you might get lucky again.

If you are drinking a pint of vodka in a Saturday morning when you know you have test on the following Monday, you have a problem.

What support system do you have in place to help you keep from drinking?

Understand that I am not trying to be judgmental. I am very concerned about what you are doing to yourself. I don't want to see you back here in another month or two asking again or worse back in a week saying you were busted. Is a pint of vodka or any alcoholic drink really worth the stress and/or the consequences of failing a test?

Urine will test positive for alcohol up to 80 hours if they run an ETG test. Google that it will explain the rest. I've been down that road, it sucks. Wish you well.

The odds are not in your favor for the quantity of alcohol drank and time frame you provided, if this is a test for ETG.

I suggest that instead of focusing on whether you can beat the system that you start doing what will actually help you. Find a meeting today and go to AA. Check yourself in for rehab somewhere. You are an alcoholic and nothing good can come of it. If you want any happiness, you need to slay this dragon first. Just make a couple good decisions today, to get to a meeting, admit you need help and start looking for in patient treatment. Just do that today. Tomorrow can be dealt with tomorrow. If you do end up violating, if you go to jail, ask the judge to send you to treatment. Tell him or her, "i am an alcoholic - i need help". Best of luck to you.

I know the test is a big deal to you, but in the scheme of your life, just one more problem of Drinking. The real crisis is the drinking, not the test.
